As we grow our network, both in church and other supporters and in the organizations we will serve, we're excited to be partnering with two new organizations in addition to our existing partnership with Salt and Light Coalition.

Our partnership with Salt and Light Coalition is expanding, as well. Since 2018, including through the pandemic, we've served Salt and Light once per month. Beginning in January 2024, we will be visiting Salt and Light twice per month, bringing a workshop every other Thursday afternoon. It is really fun to be a part of their expansion as they prepare to move into their own permanent facility. Salt and Light is expanding the programming offered and the days they offer it, in an effort to better prepare their survivors for reintegration into society.

Additionally, we will be traveling to Texas a few times this year to serve Rescue Her. Rescue Her is a survivor support and advocacy organization based in the DFW area. They've helped survivors "through crisis response, advocacy, safe homes, street outreach, education/prevention, and facilitating rescue operations. From India to Moldova to right here in Texas, we have assisted survivors all across the globe. No matter where we are or what we’re doing, we fight for her. We believe that most people want to fight trafficking - they just don’t know how. Rescue Her is a place that allows those who want to take action to do so."

We'll first visit Rescue Her in April to demonstrate for their staff what our workshops look like, while also helping their staff with a little bit of comic relief and team-building. Then, the following month, we're back in The Lone Star State to visit their survivors.

Then, back home in Illinois, we're also working with Naomi's House. From their website, "Every

woman who has suffered from commercial sexual exploitation is worthy of freedom, healing, and a fresh start. Our mission at Naomi’s House is to help her find it." Naomi's House also says, "Everything we do is geared toward restoring what has been lost in the evil and violence of trafficking. Through a trauma-informed, holistic approach, our team is helping women heal and achieve hundreds of personal goals. Rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and committed to the full mental, emotional, and spiritual healing of each survivor, we operate under the belief that she is the best advocate for her own care."

We're thrilled to be able to share these partnerships and can't wait to share more organizations. We're close to sharing about a group in South Dakota and one in Florida, as well as more in the Midwest.

Most Missionaries spend their first year or so focused on support-raising. But, my heart is to reach these amazing survivors now. Not to mention, I couldn't step away from Salt and Light to focus on fundraising. So, we're doing all we can to raise awareness, minister, and seek faithful supporters that will allow us to go and bring the Light to the hurting.

Would you be one of those supporters today? You can make your one-time gift or Monthly Faith Promise through the AG Giving website. Our page is linked at partner.gifts4glory.com.
